Job Description:
Our company has a solid reputation for designing and manufacturing various types of interior and non-electrical exterior signs and graphics, including lobby signs, wall graphics, vehicle wraps & lettering, banners, and trade show displays.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled individual to handle the various responsibilities of a professional Sign Builder and Installer. While we prefer candidates that have some successful prior experience working in a sign company, we will consider candidates that have the necessary skills and work ethic we desire.
In this position you will be operating state of the art sign making equipment that includes a large format printer, flatbed printer, vinyl cutter/plotter, CNC router and laminators. You also will need to be comfortable and skilled working with power tools, taking accurate measurements and preparing and applying vinyl graphics to windows, walls, floors, vehicles and other substrates.
Minimum Requirements / Responsibilities:
** Prior experience in any/all of the following areas preferred;
Previous sign industry experience a plus, with a background in vinyl printing, cutting & application.
Experience operating a large format digital printer, flatbed printer vinyl cutter/plotter, lamination and cnc machine a plus.
Working knowledge of sign making materials; i.e. vinyl, substrates, etc. knowledge of interior and exterior sign and graphics installations on walls, windows, floors, vehicles and substrates. Experience installing dimensional letters and logos, post and panel signs and ADA signage required.
Vehicle wrap experience a plus.
Strong computer and file management skills including experience and knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Onyx preferred.
Ability to read and follow all details on work orders.
Ability to work well with others, including management, sales and production team members and clients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing/production area, and company vehicle.
Assist in maintaining company signage equipment.
Must have reliable transportation with a clean driving record and valid Florida Drivers License.
